How to book a family photoshoot in Milton Keynes?

A £49 deposit is required to secure your family photography session. This is not an additional fee and is deducted from your chosen package price.

The remaining payment can be made by cash or bank transfer on the day of your photoshoot at our Milton Keynes studio.

Question 2

How many images are included in family photography packages?

Answer

Your family photography package includes between 15-35 high-resolution digital images without watermarks, depending on your chosen tier:

Bronze Package (£199): 15 edited digital photos
Silver Package (£329): 25 edited digital photos
Gold Package (£459): 35 edited digital photos

You’ll first receive a watermarked online gallery to make your selection. After selection, your chosen images will be professionally edited and delivered without watermarks in high-resolution format.

All unedited photos with watermarks in JPEG format are available for £300 as an additional option.

How long does a family photo session take?

Answer

Family photography sessions typically last 60-90 minutes, depending on your chosen package and family size.

We allow plenty of time for everyone to feel comfortable, multiple groupings (whole family, parents only, kids only, individual portraits), and outfit changes if desired. Larger families may benefit from extended session time.

Where is your family photography studio located?

Mihai Gonguta – Photo Studio is located at Unit 10A Cuckoo Hill Farm, Castlethorpe Rd, Milton Keynes MK19 7HQ. We have free parking directly in front of the studio.

Our professional studio is spacious and equipped for family groups of all sizes, with comfortable seating and a welcoming environment.

Can we include grandparents in family photos?

Absolutely! Multi-generational family photos are precious memories. We can capture various groupings:

• Individual family branches
• Candid interactions between generations

These photos become treasured heirlooms for generations to come.

What should our family wear for the photoshoot?

Answer

For the best results, we recommend coordinating (not matching) outfits:

• Choose a color palette: 2-3 complementary colors across everyone’s outfits
• Mix textures and patterns: One patterned piece, rest solid colors
• Avoid: Logos, neon colors, or all-white/all-black
• Comfort is key: Everyone should feel confident in their clothes
• Bring options: 2 outfit choices per person if you’d like variety

Consider your home decor when choosing colors – photos often end up on walls!

What should we bring to our family session?

• 1-2 outfit options per person
• Snacks and drinks (especially for children)
• Hairbrush and touch-up makeup
• Any special props with sentimental value (optional)
• Comfortable attitudes and readiness to have fun!

The studio provides all backdrops, props, and professional photography equipment.

What if our children are young or active?

Don’t worry! I’m experienced in working with families with young or energetic children. We:

• Work quickly to capture attention while it lasts
• Take breaks when needed
• Use engaging techniques to get natural smiles
• Schedule for your children’s best time of day (avoid nap times!)
• Bring snacks and favorite toys as rewards

The best family photos often come from those candid, natural moments of interaction.

When is the best time for a family photoshoot?

Family photography is wonderful any time of year! Popular times include:

• Spring/Summer: Bright, fresh photos perfect for updates
• Autumn: Beautiful warm tones and cozy vibes
• Before holidays: For Christmas cards or gifts
• Special milestones: New baby, graduations, anniversaries

Book your Milton Keynes family session 4-6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date, especially during busy seasons.

Question 10

How long until I receive my family images?

Answer

Within 3-4 days after your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery link with watermarked preview images. This gallery is for selection purposes only.

Once you select your favorite images based on your package, I will professionally edit them and deliver your final high-resolution images without watermarks within 20 working days.

Question 11

What if we need to reschedule our family session?

Answer

We understand that life happens! Here’s our rescheduling policy:

Rescheduling with 14+ days notice: You can reschedule once without losing your deposit, no questions asked.

Last-minute rescheduling (less than 14 days): If your request doesn’t affect other bookings, I’ll be happy to help accommodate you. However, if the short notice impacts other scheduled sessions, the £49 deposit will be forfeited.

Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to reschedule, especially if someone is unwell.
