Step by step
How to book your
Christmas session
You book right here on the page, no phone calls and no waiting for a reply. Six steps, and the slot is yours the moment the deposit goes through.
Step one
Pick your day and time
The calendar shows only the days that still have space, so you cannot land on one that is already gone. Every day carries its own price, written on the day itself, because November costs less than December and weekdays cost less than Saturdays and Sundays. Weekends go first every year. Only the slots still free appear, so choose the one that suits you and it is held for 10 minutes while you book, with the countdown on screen.
Step two
Choose your package
Mini, Bronze, Silver or Gold. Each one lists exactly what you get: how many edited photos, both Christmas sets, your private gallery, whole family welcome. The price shown is the one for the day you picked.
Step three
Your details
Name, email and phone, so we know who we are holding the time for. Your email is where everything lands, the confirmation, your session guide and the reminder, so check it is typed correctly. Your phone gets a text as well, on the day you book and again the day before your session.
Step four
Extras, questions and the terms
Add extras if you want any: extra edited photos, the full unedited set, prints and albums. Nothing here is final, you can add any of it later from your gallery once you have seen the photos. Then a few short questions, and you read and sign the booking terms on screen. No printing, no email back and forth.
Step five
Pay the £49 deposit
By card, on the page. The moment it goes through, that slot disappears from the calendar and is yours. The £49 is not an extra cost, it comes off your final balance. The confirmation lands in your inbox with the studio address and parking, and your session guide comes with it. It covers what to wear, which colours work best on each set, and what to expect on the day. You also get the link on screen the second you finish paying.
Step six
Your session, then your photos
You come to our Northampton studio for two real Christmas sets at a relaxed pace. Your private gallery is ready in 3 to 4 days, previews watermarked, and you have 15 days to choose your favourites. Edited photos arrive within 20 working days, and before the 25th of December for late bookings. The balance is paid at the end of your session, by cash or bank transfer.

Classic, warm tones. Elegant dresses, tailored suits, crisp shirts.
👟 Shoes allowed. Bring a completely clean pair kept specifically for the session, never worn outdoors. Shoes worn outside, even just from the car, are not permitted on set.
Winter
Preview image, for illustration only. The real set is handmade and will be revealed at the start of November.
A snowy cabin scene: a hot cocoa stand, a porch lit with warm fairy lights, and a vintage truck carrying home a frosted tree. Outdoor coats and cosy jumpers are welcome on this set.

Recommend us, and your next session costs less
Every client gets a personal link when they book. Send it to someone who has never had a session with us, and when they book theirs, credit lands on your account. It is for new clients only: if they have been to the studio before, no credit is earned.

12 months from the day you earn it. One credit per new client introduced, never for a returning one.
You need an account to collect and spend your credit. One is created for you when you book, and if you have been to us before you can set yours up in a minute.

The team behind the sets
I’m Mihai Gonguta. Every December, my partner and I, together with a small team, build the Christmas sets you see here from scratch, real hand made scenes, not printed backdrops, so your family walks into an actual Christmas moment.
I’ve spent over 10 years behind the camera and 7 years running my own studio, now based in Northampton, and Christmas is still my favourite time of year to shoot. Good to Know
The few rules worth knowing, and how your gallery works.
One Family Per Session
Each slot is for one family only. Contact us first for extra people.
One Outfit Per Theme
Bring one outfit for each of the two Christmas themes.
No Pets in Studio
No pets for hygiene and safety reasons.
Cancellations
Full refund if cancelled 14+ days before. Within 14 days the £49 deposit is non refundable, though you may ask to reschedule. One free reschedule with 14+ days notice, subject to availability.
High-Resolution Files
Full-res JPEGs for printing at any size.
Gallery Timings
Your selection is free for 15 days. After that a £30/month hosting fee applies until you finish choosing. Your final gallery then stays online for 3 years.
