Step by step
How to book your
Christmas session
You book right here on the page, no phone calls and no waiting for a reply. Five steps, and the slot is yours the moment the deposit goes through.
Step one · Date
Pick your day
The calendar shows only the days that still have space, so you cannot land on one that is already gone. Every day carries its own price, written on the day itself, because November costs less than December and weekdays cost less than Saturdays and Sundays. Weekends go first every year.
Step two · Time
Choose your time
Only the slots still free appear, so choose the one that suits you. It is held for 10 minutes while you book, with the countdown on screen.
Step three · Package
Choose your package
Mini, Bronze, Silver or Gold. Each one lists exactly what you get: how many edited photos, both Christmas sets, your private gallery, whole family welcome. The price shown is the one for the day you picked.
Step four · Details
Your details
Name, email and phone, so we know who we are holding the time for. Your email is where everything lands, the confirmation, your session guide and the reminder, so check it is typed correctly. Add extras here if you want any: extra edited photos, the full unedited set, prints and albums. Nothing here is final, you can add any of it later from your gallery once you have seen the photos. Then a few short questions, and you read and sign the booking terms on screen. No printing, no email back and forth.
Step five · Payment
Pay the £49 deposit
By card, on the page. The moment it goes through, that slot disappears from the calendar and is yours. The £49 is not an extra cost, it comes off your final balance. Your confirmation shows on screen straight away, lands in your inbox with the studio address and parking, and arrives as a text on your phone, with another text the day before your session. Your session guide comes with the email: what to wear, which colours work best on each set, and what to expect on the day.

What happens at your session
Everything you need to know before you arrive, so the hour is all about the photos.
Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early
Time to settle in, take your coats off and enjoy the festive atmosphere before we start.
Parking at the door
Park directly in front of the house at 160 Coppice Drive, Northampton NN3 6NG, and message Mihai. He will come out to meet you.
Shoes off at the entrance
Want shoes in your photos? Bring a clean pair that has never been worn outdoors and change into it at the studio.
Change at the studio
Bring your outfits on hangers and change here, so everything stays crease free for both themes.
45 to 90 minutes
Depending on your package, and we make the most of every minute together.
The balance, then your photos
Pay the rest on the day by cash or bank transfer. 3 to 4 days after your session you get a private gallery to choose your favourite photos (15 days to choose). We then edit them: delivered within 20 working days, or by 25 December if chosen by 20 December.

Elegance

Classic, warm tones. Elegant dresses, tailored suits, crisp shirts.
👟 Shoes allowed. Bring a completely clean pair kept specifically for the session, never worn outdoors. Shoes worn outside, even just from the car, are not permitted on set.
Winter
Preview image, for illustration only. The real set is handmade and will be revealed at the start of November.
A snowy cabin scene: a hot cocoa stand, a porch lit with warm fairy lights, and a vintage truck carrying home a frosted tree. Outdoor coats and cosy jumpers are welcome on this set.

Recommend us, and your next session costs less
Every client gets a personal link when they book. Send it to someone who has never had a session with us, and when they book theirs, credit lands on your account. It is for new clients only: if they have been to the studio before, no credit is earned.

12 months from the day you earn it. One credit per new client introduced, never for a returning one.
You need an account to collect and spend your credit. One is created for you when you book, and if you have been to us before you can set yours up in a minute.
Christmas gifts
Give a Christmas photoshoot
For grandparents, godparents or the family who has everything: up to 90 minutes in our handmade Christmas sets, and photos they will keep for years.
- A full session or any amount from £20 towards one.
- Emailed in minutes, to you to print and wrap, or straight to them.
- Valid for 12 months. They choose their own date when they book.

The team behind the sets
I’m Mihai Gonguta. Every December, my partner and I, together with a small team, build the Christmas sets you see here from scratch, real hand made scenes, not printed backdrops, so your family walks into an actual Christmas moment.
I’ve spent over 10 years behind the camera and 7 years running my own studio, now based in Northampton, and Christmas is still my favourite time of year to shoot. Good to Know
The few rules worth knowing, and how your gallery works.
One Family Per Session
Each slot is for one family only. Contact us first for extra people.
One Outfit Per Theme
Bring one outfit for each of the two Christmas themes.
No Pets in Studio
No pets for hygiene and safety reasons.
Cancellations
Full refund if cancelled 21+ days before. Within 21 days the £49 deposit is non refundable, though you may ask to reschedule. One free reschedule with 14+ days notice, subject to availability.
High-Resolution Files
Full-res JPEGs for printing at any size.
Gallery Timings
Your selection is free for 15 days. After that a £30/month hosting fee applies until you finish choosing. Your final gallery then stays online for 3 years.
