The team behind the sets

I’m Mihai Gonguta. Every December, my partner and I, together with a small team, build the Christmas sets you see here from scratch, real hand made scenes, not printed backdrops, so your family walks into an actual Christmas moment.

I’ve spent over 10 years behind the camera and 7 years running this studio in Milton Keynes, and Christmas is still my favourite time of year to shoot. With a 5.0 star rating across 116 Google reviews, I’d love to welcome you in for a 2026 session running throughout November and December.

No, for health and safety reasons pets aren’t permitted in the studio during sessions.

For Elegance, think white, cream, red, burgundy, blue, gold, brown or green. For Winter, red, burgundy, green, white or brown work best with the coats and jumpers on that set. Shoes are welcome if kept spotless and never worn outdoors.

Between 45 and 90 minutes, depending on your package, with time for both Christmas themes.

Yes. The studio is open Monday to Sunday, by appointment. Weekends tend to book up fastest in December.
