The two Christmas sets
Every session includes both sets, at no extra cost, whichever package you choose. They are built by hand in the studio and they go up at the start of November, which is why nobody is standing in these photographs yet.
Bring one outfit per person for each set. Changing takes about five minutes and it is built into your session time.

Every package includes both Christmas sets and a private online gallery that stays available to download for three years.
The prices above are the November weekday rate. A weekend date adds £30, and so does a December date, so a December weekend is £60 above the figure in the table. A £49 deposit secures your date and comes off the total. Choose your photos by 20 December and the edited photos arrive by 25 December, in time for cards, prints and gifts.

Our Mini package is a Christmas mini session: up to 45 minutes in the studio, both Christmas sets and 10 edited photos, from £149 on November weekdays. It is a good fit if you want a handful of beautiful festive photos for your Christmas cards without a longer session. Christmas gift vouchers can also be used towards any Christmas package.
When should you book your Christmas photoshoot?
Our 2026 Christmas sessions run from 7 November to 28 December. The best dates, weekends in early November, typically fill within the first week. If you want a particular date, book as soon as you know it.
If you are planning to send photo Christmas cards, choose a November date. 3 to 4 days after your session you get a private gallery to choose your favourite photos (15 days to choose). We then edit them: delivered within 20 working days, or by 25 December if chosen by 20 December, which leaves plenty of time to order cards.
What to wear for your Christmas photoshoot
Coordinating outfits photograph better than matching ones. Choose a colour palette and let each family member wear something within it. Deep greens, burgundy, cream and navy all work beautifully against our festive sets. Avoid logos and busy patterns. Layering adds texture: a cardigan, a knit jumper, a scarf.
Prepare two complete outfit options per person, one for each set.
Who is the Christmas photoshoot for?
Our Christmas sessions are made for families, children and couples. Each package covers one immediate family. If you would like grandparents or extended family included, get in touch before booking and we can talk through the options. It is a festive family session rather than a newborn session: newborn portraits are photographed in their own dedicated session.

Frequently asked questions about Christmas photoshoots in Northampton
Do I need to bring anything?
Bring your outfits, any comfort items for young children, and the baby’s feeding supplies if needed. We provide all props, decorations and lighting. There is nothing else to prepare beyond choosing what to wear.
What if my child does not cooperate?
This is completely normal. Patience and flexibility are built into every session. We never force poses or rush. Children respond naturally when they have space to settle, and the best portraits often come from the spontaneous moments in between setups.
How long until I see my photos?
3 to 4 days after your session you get a private gallery to choose your favourite photos, with 15 days to choose. We then edit the ones you choose: they arrive within 20 working days, or by 25 December when you choose them by 20 December. Your final gallery stays online for three years.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel 14 or more days before your session and the deposit is refunded in full. After that the £49 deposit is non refundable, though you may ask to reschedule. One free reschedule is available with more than 14 days’ notice, subject to availability.
