Booked a Christmas session, or thinking about it? Here is exactly what happens after you leave the studio: when your gallery arrives, how to get your edited photos back as soon as possible, and how prints and albums fit in.
Christmas 2026: this year’s two themes
Every Christmas session this year includes both handmade sets, Elegance and Winter, in the same session, with one outfit for each. The sets go up at the start of November; the images below are preview images of the sets themselves.
The dates that matter
- Sessions run from 7 November to 28 December, in our Northampton studio.
- Your selection gallery is ready 3 to 4 days after your session. You get a notification in the app.
- You have 15 days to choose, but there is no need to wait: the sooner you send your selection, the sooner we edit it.
- Editing takes up to 20 working days from your selection, and you can see the expected date in My Orders in the app.
The earlier your session, and the sooner you choose, the more relaxed everything is. A November session chosen in its first few days means your photos are back well before the cards need to go out.
When will my photos be ready?
Your gallery arrives 3 to 4 days after your session, and from that moment it is up to you: the sooner you choose your favourites, the sooner they are edited. Most families choose in the first few days, and their photos come back first. It takes about ten minutes in the app, your picks save by themselves, and the expected date is always in My Orders.
If you would like the photos for something special, a card, a gift or a family visit, just tell us when you send your selection and we will do our best.
This year’s two sets
Both sets are included in every session. Elegance is deep red and green, with chandeliers and a dressed tree. Winter is a snowy cabin with a hot cocoa stand and a white truck. You bring one outfit for each and we shoot them both.

Everything happens in our free app: your gallery arrives there, you choose with one tap, and your edited photos land in the same gallery, ready to save to your phone. If you are new to it, read how your gallery works, step by step.
Prints, cards and albums in time for Christmas
Prints are ordered from your final gallery, from £2 a print, and are posted to your door within days. Canvases and framed prints are made to order and take a little longer, so order them as soon as your final gallery is ready if you want them on the wall for Christmas Day.
Albums are handmade and take 6 to 8 weeks, so a Christmas session album arrives in January. It is a lovely way to keep the whole session together, and the Gold package includes one.
Gift vouchers are emailed instantly, in any amount from £20, if someone in your family would love a session of their own in the new year.
