Frequently Asked Questions

The ideal time is within the first 3 to 18 days after birth, when your baby is still naturally sleepy and curls into those adorable poses. Contact us as soon as baby arrives to confirm the exact date.

Typically 2 to 4 hours depending on your package, including feeding breaks, nappy changes and soothing. We never rush a newborn session. Your baby’s comfort and safety always come first.

Yes. Your baby’s safety is the top priority. All poses are achieved safely with proper support; some complex-looking poses use composite techniques. Parents are always present and welcome to watch or assist.

Nappies, wipes, milk or bottles for feeding breaks, a dummy if used, and a change of clothes for parents. The studio provides over 30 wrap colours, props, blankets and all equipment.

Yes, our studio has a comprehensive collection of over 30 wrap colours, headbands, hats, blankets and baskets. One professional outfit is included with Gold packages. All props are cleaned and sanitised between sessions.

Absolutely! Family photos are included in all newborn packages: solo portraits of your newborn, with parents, and with siblings. We recommend neutral, solid-coloured clothing to keep the focus on baby.

Keep baby awake for 1 to 2 hours before arriving, feed just before or on arrival, and dress them in loose clothing with no tight elastic. The studio is kept very warm for comfort. Don’t worry about baby acne, it can be retouched.

Within 3 to 4 days you’ll get a private online gallery with watermarked previews to choose from. Once selected, final edited high-resolution images are delivered within 20 working days.

Between 15 and 35 high-resolution edited images depending on your tier: 15 in Bronze, 25 in Silver, 35 in Gold. All unedited photos, in high resolution JPEG without watermark, are available separately for £150 (usually £300). You can add them any time within 3 months of your final gallery being delivered. They appear in your gallery straight away and are yours to download for those 3 months.

Newborn sessions are booked once your baby has arrived. Message us on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or the contact form when you’re home from hospital, and we’ll find a date together while baby is still tiny and sleepy. A £49 deposit secures that date. It’s deducted from your final package price, not an extra fee. You’re very welcome to message us during your pregnancy with any questions.

No problem at all, babies arrive on their own schedule. We only fix the date once baby is here, so there is nothing to move. Just message us when you’re home from hospital and we’ll book your session within the ideal 3 to 18 day window.
