Professional Newborn Photography in Milton Keynes

The ideal time for newborn photography is within the first 3-18 days after birth, when your baby is still naturally sleepy and curls into those adorable poses.

Once your baby arrives, contact me immediately so we can confirm the exact session date within that optimal first 3-18 day window.

Newborn photography sessions typically last 2-4 hours, depending on your chosen package and your baby’s needs.

This may seem long, but we work at your baby’s pace. The time includes feeding breaks (usually 1-2 feeds), nappy changes, soothing, and multiple setup changes. We never rush a newborn session – your baby’s comfort and safety are always the priority.

Please bring:

• Nappies and wipes
• Milk/bottles for feeding breaks
• A dummy if your baby uses one
• Any special comfort items
• A change of clothes for parents (in case of accidents)

The studio is fully equipped with over 30 wrap colors, props, blankets, and all professional newborn photography equipment. You don’t need to bring anything else unless you have a special item with sentimental value you’d like included.

Yes! Our Milton Keynes studio has a comprehensive collection of newborn photography props including over 30 wrap colors, headbands, hats, blankets, and baskets.

Newborn outfits: One professional newborn outfit is included with Gold packages. Additional outfits can be discussed based on your preferences.

All props and wraps are professionally cleaned and sanitized between sessions for your baby’s safety.

Absolutely! Family photos are included in all newborn packages. We’ll capture beautiful portraits of your newborn alone, with parents, and with siblings.

These family shots create precious memories and show the love surrounding your newest family member. We recommend neutral, solid-colored clothing for family members to keep the focus on your baby.

To help your session go smoothly:

• Keep baby awake for 1-2 hours before the session (a sleepy baby poses better)
• Feed baby just before arriving or immediately upon arrival
• Dress baby in loose clothing (no tight elastic that leaves marks)
• Keep the car nice and warm during travel
• Don’t worry if baby has spots or baby acne – these can be retouched

The studio is kept very warm to keep your newborn comfortable during the session.

Yes! Your baby’s safety is my absolute top priority. I am experienced in newborn photography safety and handling techniques.

All poses are achieved safely, with proper support. Some complex-looking poses may use composite techniques (combining multiple safe shots). Parents are always present and welcome to watch or assist during the entire session.

The studio is kept warm, all equipment is sanitized, and we work at your baby’s pace with breaks whenever needed.

Mihai Gonguta – Photo Studio is located at Unit 10A Cuckoo Hill Farm, Castlethorpe Rd, Milton Keynes MK19 7HQ. We have free parking directly in front of the studio.

Our professional studio is fully equipped for newborn photography with heating control, comfortable seating for parents, and everything needed for a successful session.

Within 3-4 days after your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery link with watermarked preview images. This gallery is for selection purposes only.

Once you select your favorite images based on your package, I will professionally edit them and deliver your final high-resolution images without watermarks within 20 working days.

Your newborn package includes between 15-35 high-resolution digital images without watermarks, depending on your chosen tier:

Bronze Package (£199): 15 edited digital photos
Silver Package (£329): 25 edited digital photos
Gold Package (£459): 35 edited digital photos

You’ll first receive a watermarked online gallery to make your selection. After selection, your chosen images will be professionally edited and delivered without watermarks in high-resolution format.

All unedited photos with watermarks in JPEG format are available for £300 as an additional option.

A £49 deposit is required to secure your tentative booking during pregnancy. This is not an additional fee and is deducted from your chosen package price. Once baby arrives, contact me immediately to confirm your session date.

The remaining payment can be made by cash or bank transfer on the day of your newborn photoshoot at our Milton Keynes studio.

Don’t worry! I understand babies arrive on their own schedule.

Early or late arrivals: Simply contact me as soon as your baby is born, and we’ll schedule your session within the optimal 3-18 day window. Your tentative booking date is flexible by design.

Your newborn photos receive professional post-production editing including adjustments to tone, exposure, contrast, brightness, saturation, and artistic cropping according to my signature photography style.

All images are edited consistently with the style showcased in our newborn photography portfolio. Basic retouching is included, such as removing baby acne, scratches, or temporary skin blemishes.

Specific additional retouching requests can be provided at an additional cost upon request.

Yes! We offer premium albums, prints, and wall art to preserve your newborn memories.

Only parents and siblings can attend the newborn photoshoot at our Milton Keynes studio. This policy ensures a calm, quiet environment that helps keep your newborn settled and sleepy.

During your professional newborn photography session, only the photographer is permitted to take photos. Parents, friends, family, and guests are not allowed to take photos with cameras, phones, or tablets.

This policy ensures the best lighting conditions, maintains a calm environment for baby, and allows everyone to be fully present during this special session.

For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted at our Milton Keynes newborn photography studio.

Yes! Gift vouchers for newborn photography sessions make wonderful presents for expectant parents or as baby shower gifts.
